Manager Forensic Technology

Job Description:

Services are specialized to help clients mitigate risks across an overall risk spectrum. We are currently seeking a Manager, Forensic Technology to join us in our San Francisco, CA office.

KPMG ForensicSM uses computer forensic and data analysis techniques to help our clients detect fraudulent activity and other forms of misconduct. KPMG LLP operates the Cypress Technology Center, which offers sophisticated technology tools and skilled professionals to help clients reduce litigation costs and risks in the areas of evidence and discovery management and the acquisition, management, and analysis of large data sets.

Responsibilities:

• Manage client engagements and coordinate with technical and project management professionals for project planning, execution, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
• Supervise local team members, managing for resource allocation, client workflow, and task-based requirements co-coordinating interdepartmental resources to help ensure completion of project tasks on schedule
• Facilitate client and internal team meetings, advising with client and team members to document client objectives and requirements, make recommendations, and determine and implement the best workflow and solutions
• Responsible for delivering client satisfaction, measuring progress against the plan throughout the project/delivery cycle, proactively apply quality management, change control, risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction control procedures
• Execute multiple priorities and projects on a daily basis
• Develop proficiency in, and utilize the various tools available to KPMG for data processing, hosting, and production during the life cycles of a project
• Provide demonstrations and training of KPMG’s products and services to existing and prospective clients
• Take part in responding to Request for Proposal (RFP’s) and generating budget estimates
• Identify and lead processes and quality improvement initiatives including post-project analysis

Qualifications:

• Four years of experience working as a Project Manager in the legal industry including significant experience with litigation support and e-discovery processes in large-scale litigation including collection, processing, review, and production
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
• Network of relationships with local law firms and corporate legal departments
• Significant experience with hosted document review applications including management and execution of complex review workflow support
• Proficiency using Microsoft SQL and Access databases
• Strong commitment to client services delivery
