Recruiting Manager

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Recruiting Manager to join us in our Mountain View or San Francisco Office.

Responsibilities:
• Recruit Tax professionals for partners/process owners/hiring managers by sourcing qualified candidates through productive and cost-effective efforts including mining in KPMG's applicant tracking system (ATS), direct sourcing, employee referral program, Linkedin, and internet posting and mining
• Present screened candidates to Partners/Hiring Managers in a professional and expert manner
• Identify, review, screen, prequalify, negotiate and pre-close candidates against open requisitions and track completely and accurately in ATS
• Manage client relationships, including gathering position requirements, reviewing resumes and updating on position status; coordinate office visit interview process, including the distribution/collection of evaluation forms, meeting to discuss feedback, and candidate management and care.
• Liaise with the Research, Campus Recruiting and Direct Entry Partner teams on the recruitment of qualified candidates
• Comply with established operational and reporting structures, particularly with the applicant tracking system, job description creation and EEO/Diversity policies including the timely and accurate completion of applicant flow logs
• Resourceful in gathering practice and firm information; demonstrate problem solving skills and offer solutions and best practices to the organization
• Participate in special projects/task forces as required
• Professionally represent KPMG in the marketplace
• Support a results-oriented and teaming culture

Qualifications:
• Six or more years of progressive recruitment experience with at least two years of experience in tax recruiting and/or in a professional services environment
• Experience in recruiting and conducting searches up through the Senior Manager/Director levels
• Ability to support/interact with senior practice leadership, and to influence processes at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to execute recruiting strategy, including promoting KPMG in the employment marketplace, place appropriate postings and advertisements, candidate management and interview process management
• Demonstrated mastery of a variety of effective recruiting techniques, including direct sourcing and cold calling
• Demonstrated organizational skills, particularly related to data collection and reporting; following established recruiting plans and compliance procedures; and timely and accurate communication
• Bachelor's degree from and accredited college/university or equivalent experience
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong client handling capabilities and business acumen
• Knowledge of applicant tracking systems preferred
• Able to travel for meetings, job fairs and client interaction
