We are currently seeking a Manager – Area Accounts – Chicago Industries and Marketing to join us in our Chicago office.Responsibilities:• Provide support to the local Market Leader or pursuit teams as they attempt to penetrate target companies and radiate new services as appropriate with existing clients including plan development, identification of relevant audit, tax and/or advisory services, internal business development process, proposal coordination, monitoring of deployment, and management reporting• Develop area and local marketing initiatives and work with Partners to develop and implement a plan to sustain our current client base• Develop a go-to-market approach for assigned targets• Develop a comprehensive account plan to support key accounts in targeted industries• Develop and analyze research profiles of assigned companies• Facilitate meetings with account and pursuit team to discuss status and next steps and follow-up on these plans• Facilitate and monitor client care process• Demonstrate return on investment for go-to-market initiatives• Support the firm's branding and look for unique opportunities in the market to leverage the brand as aligned to clients and targets• Serve as a key marketing point person in the deployment of specific services such as Advisory, Forensic, Federal Tax, and other areas• Provide on-going marketing counsel and support to firm leaders • Facilitate KPMG's presence at business and community venuesQualifications:• Five years of marketing or business experience• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited college/university• Familiarity with market analysis and development of marketing plans • Ability and willingness to learn the firm’s quality growth goals, assigned targets/accounts, and a working knowledge of the firm’s key audit, tax and advisory offerings• Knowledge of research techniques/analysis• Business-to-business marketing or relationship based marketing experience• Business development experience• Ability to understand and translate industry issues to specific account needs and help translate into opportunity identification• Practical knowledge of today's challenging business world and business issues and trends• Experience with targeting methodologies• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to conceive and articulate plans• Ability to build and maintain relationships in a matrix organization• Demonstrated accountability by meeting deadlines and providing follow-upKPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedulesWe also offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.Interested?
