A fun place to work
We all know that making time for relaxation, reflection...vacation, is important. But, at KPMG, we believe it is equally important to maintain a work environment that encourages...fun!
Helping Kids Achieve
Last year, employees and partners from 34 KPMG offices participated in Junior Achievement events, giving more than 9,600 volunteer hours and raising more than $600,000 through bowl-a-thons, golf outings, and more.
Since it launched in May 2007, KPMG Connect (KPMG's Alumni portal) has been a place where current and former KPMG employees and partners can keep informed about what's going on in their lives and careers. And it's a big community-more than 16,000 current KPMG'ers are registered, along with more than 17,200 former and retired partners and employees.
Help When You Need it the Most
Last year, KPMG contributed nearly $600,000 to the American Cancer Society (ACS) through corporate contributions and employee giving, and more than 750 KPMG partners and employees from 39 offices participated in a variety of events to support the ACS.
Lots of us are watching our budgets these days, so bargains and discounts are always welcome. KPMG's MyLife benefits offer a total of 27 different discount programs for KPMG employees and partners, including everything from day care to pet insurance to new cars!
Literacy for the Little Ones
Over the past two years, KPMG's Family for Literacy has donated more than $500,000 and distributed more than 350,000 books, and an additional $100,000 has been raised by KPMG employees and partners and their families.
Hitting a Home Run
Boys and girls in 30 cities across the nation are learning the rules of baseball, as well as valuable life skills, as they participate in the KPMG sponsored RBI Program. More than 1,500 KPMG people have volunteered to lend a hand since our sponsorship began in 2007.
Hours and Hours
In 2008, KPMG partners and employees donated more than 205,000 hours to local charities, using the KPMG Volunteer Time Release program. Eligible employees can donate up to 12 hours per year.
