We are currently seeking a Senior Associate in Internal Audit & Regulatory Compliance Services (IARCS)-Regulatory Compliance for our KPMG Risk Consulting practice to join us in our Atlanta, GA office.<br/><br/><b>Responsibilities:</b><br/>* Work closely with team members to gain a high-level of competency in teaching KPMG developed training materials related to clinical documentation improvement to our clients<br/>* Participate in various aspects of KPMG&#8217;s clinical documentation improvement and other ICD-10 services as appropriate based on credentials and experience<br/>* Assist with documentation review for compliance gaps, fraud and misconduct as skills and credentials permit<br/>* Write summaries of findings and observations associated with record reviews<br/>* Deliver Diagnosis Related Groups including MSDRG and APR DRG, coding and documentation education to nurses, coders, physicians and other client professionals as appropriate based on experience and credentials<br/>* Help manage engagements including tracking the client&#8217;s improvements and making observations related to opportunities<br/><b>Qualifications:</b><br/>* Four years of experience in a professional services setting focused on healthcare industry concerns, specific experience with clinical documentation improvement and relative issues is a plus<br/>* RN, RHIA (Registered Healthcare Information Administrator), RHIT (Registered Healthcare Information Technician),CCS (Certified Coding Specialist); BSN, BA, MBA, MA or MS from an accredited college/university is desired<br/>* Experience pursuing new project opportunities including proposal development and presentations is a plus<br/>* Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects<br/>* Experience and knowledge of regulatory compliance issues facing the healthcare industry is a plus and experience in assigning ICD-9/ICD-10 codes, CPT codes, and identifying medical necessity is preferred<br/>* Ability to travel extensively<br/>KPMG offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.<br/><br/>No phone calls or agencies please.<br/>KPMG Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity Employer, M/F/D/V.
