We have other locations available including Los Angeles and Chicago.<br/><br/><b>Responsibilities:</b><br/>* Deliver credit review engagements that focus on reliability of risk rating, credit administration, and loss estimation including scope, plan, execute, and report out on detailed loan file and departmental reviews<br/>* Assess the quality of the client&#8217;s credit underwriting, supervision, and risk rating by considering results of the detailed loan file review and manage credit portfolio due diligence for mergers and acquisitions<br/>* Recruit, develop, and manage teams engaged in bulk loan file reviews<br/>* Prepare the report of examination for partner approval and present findings to client management and the board of directors as well as review and edit reports prepared by subordinates<br/>* Report to senior management and the Board of Directors of client banks<br/>* Respond to specific client requests and identify opportunities for new business development<br/>Additional Responsibilities for Director:<br/>* Oversee various engagement personnel<br/>* Regularly communicate with project sponsors and other interested client parties<br/>* Manage various facets of engagement including risk management, project acceptance, billing, delivery, and collections<br/>* Develop and sell new and existing clients, including development of marketing plans and sales strategies<br/><b>Qualifications:</b><br/>* Seven years of experience in participating and/or managing credit review assignments with some combination of third party credit review with a large consultancy and internal loan review experience at either a mid-tier regional bank, money center bank, or a federal bank regulator<br/>* Bachelor&#8217;s degree from an accredited college/university<br/>* Strong credit and financial analysis skills, including knowledge of lending regulations and credit related U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles such as FAS 5, FAS 15, and FAS 114<br/>* Strong understanding of the technical aspects of a bank&#8217;s allowance for credit losses such as loss migration, vintage analysis, markov regressions, dual risk rating, and probability of default/loss given default forecasting<br/>* Substantial experience in a role participating in credit risk management, analysis, reporting or loan review processes and knowledge of credit risk management rating and measurement methodologies, provisioning and capital requirements, and/or credit risk management tools<br/>Additional Qualifications for Director:<br/>* Twelve years of related work experience in a financial services or consulting firm<br/>* Demonstrated track record of leadership, client management, project management, and business development<br/>* Well established understanding of business dynamics and regulations<br/>* Established network of industry contacts and business development opportunities<br/>KPMG offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.<br/><br/>No phone calls or agencies please.<br/>KPMG Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity Employer, M/F/D/V.
