Job Description: KPMG’s Advisory Services Practice focuses on fundamental business issues — managing risk, increasing revenues, controlling costs — that organizations, across various industries, should address in order to help them flourish. Services are specialized to help clients mitigate risks across an overall risk spectrum. We are currently seeking an Associate to join us in our Tyson’s Corner office.Financial Risk Management (FRM) professionals help management and boards of directors to identify, measure, and monitor financial and business risks, the relationships between risks and returns, and the control environment over the management and reporting of these risks. In the very complex world of financial instruments, FRM professionals have assisted in valuation approaches, stress testing, model development and risk rating, and measurement approaches to help management leverage the leading practices in risk identification and measurement. Credit Risk provides a full range of wholesale and consumer credit risk management and operational improvement services to assist clients in identifying potential risks and opportunities. The credit risk team has deep industry experience in credit policies, services, measurement, processes, collections, models, and reporting within the credit cycle.Candidate will fill a new position in the system development/support group that is part of a Structured Finance Group. The main focus of the job will be assisting in the development and support of applications using the .NET Framework. Responsibilities:• Assist in development and support of financial .NET applications in C#• Assist users in troubleshooting problems and if necessary make code changes to fix code issues.• Develop, enhance, and maintain existing C# application using the .Net Framework and the SQL Server database• Work in a team environment with developers and end users• Gather user requirements to add functionality to our applications• Assist in the re-architecture of existing applications• May also assist in the maintenance and development of another application running C++, FoxPro and PowerBuilderQualifications:• One or more years professional development experience using the .Net Framework (C# or VB.Net)• Microsoft SQL Server• Familiarity with Object Oriented Methodology• One to three plus years of IT work experience• Crystal ReportsKPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
