Job Description: Information Technology Services (ITS) is the internal IT arm of KPMG. It provides integrated IT services to the firm, but does not provide direct service to clients. It encompasses global, national and practice-based components working together to meet or exceed client, business and regulatory requirements and deliver priority projects to KPMG member firms worldwide. Resources across ITS are combined to seamlessly provide services effectively and efficiently to KPMG’s competitive advantage. We are currently seeking a Manager - Integrated Planning to join us in our Montvale office.Responsibilities •Assume ownership of integration planning related to various ITS active and pipeline projects in support of the Project Management Office (PMO), Portfolio Management Team, Resource Management Team, and governance activity•Design, document, and implement a process to perform integrated project planning•Gather, analyze, and apply relevant project progress and performance information•Incorporate resource allocation, consumption, and capacity data into integrated plan development•Participate in the project scope change management process to perform cross-portfolio impact analysis based on project deliverable and resource dependencies•Perform what-if analyses based on various scheduling, resource utilization, and cross-project dependencies to produce alternative planning scenarios•Provide demand management, portfolio management, and governance support•Design and produce routine and ad hoc reporting associated with integrated planning•Collaborate with the Business Relationship Manager (BRM) organization to assist with establishing customer “sub-portfolio” related metrics and scenarios•Liaise with the Portfolio Management and Solution Center Teams to represent pipelines and solution definition timelines in the integrated plan•Assist in the development, maintenance, oversight, and operation of PMO-related processes associated with integrated strategic and cycle-level planning•Maintain alignment between the ITS initiative portfolio and the ITS integrated initiative plan•Develop and maintain artifacts (frameworks, guidelines, process descriptions, templates, samples, etc.) in the PMO knowledgebaseQualifications•Ability to think strategically and participate actively in decision analysis processes, including problem formulation, meeting facilitation, model development, simulation, scenario analysis, and presentations to decision-makers•Hands-on proficiency with project management/planning systems, portfolio management tools, spreadsheets, Excel macros, and the potential to use advanced decision support analytical tools (e.g., decision analysis software, Monte Carlo simulation, optimization) •Considerable experience and knowledge of IT solution and service delivery; specific experience in applications development & support, and IT infrastructure services is a plus•Ten years of progressive project, program, and portfolio management experience within IT organizations and experience in applications portfolio strategy, planning, sizing, analysis, implementation, and management•Demonstrated project and program management experience gained within a corporate fast-paced, challenging environment, supporting the CIO, core IT executives, and business sponsors•Strong multi-project management skills, experienced in organizing, prioritizing, planning, and executing multiple significant-scale projects from definition through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors•Considerable experience in the management of large, complex IT projects and programs including high risk, visible projects comprised of large, cross-discipline teams spanning multiple budget/operating cycles •Experience in establishing and integrating governance policies and providing tangible reporting metrics •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; Masters degree from an accredited college/university a plus •Experience organizing and facilitating teams of IT professionals•Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels in an organizationKPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
