We are currently seeking a Director, Information Technology (IT)to join us in our Montvale office.Responsibilities:• Manage highly visible and complex programs while overseeing multiple projects at an enterprise level• Develop and implements integrated IT solutions, assessed by benefit, risks and cost to support business strategies• Keep up to data on business trends and technology and anticipates forthcoming business changes• Analyze new emerging technologies and translate implications of the new technology into an effective IT vision and strategy for the Tax Technology Practice; develop and execute multi-year roadmap to achieve strategic vision• Collaborate with other technology leaders across KPMG to assess current capabilities against the Tax Technology vision and develops plans to close gaps• Lead and influence the development of standards and decisions regarding changes to systems/ applications, and provides technical and business leadership and vision• Lead the development, maintenance, oversight, and operation of an agile software development lifecycle for the Tax Technology Practice; establish and integrate agile measures, metrics, thresholds, and targets to drive performance in alignment with IT and business strategies• Forecast hiring and training needs; help to ensure that the adequate levels of people resources are available to meet business needs and financial parameters, balance use of contractors and employees to meet varying skill and client requirements• Provide a collaborative style and build the appropriate relationships and partnerships across the business unit• Provide mentoring and leadership to the organization, client, and junior members of the organization, and serve as a role model• Manage and execute through influence in addition to management through direct line accountability and operate effectively in a matrix organizationQualifications:• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university • Fifteen years of progressive IT experience; ten years of experience leading enterprise scale application• Leadership experience in managing large cross-functional teams and the flexibility to influence people at a variety of levels internally and externally• Strong multi-project management skills with experience in organizing, prioritizing, planning, and executing multiple high-risk, high-visibility, large-scale projects from definition through implementation, involving internal personnel and consultants• Experience building collaborative environments, teaming cultures, and customer service mindset among project teams• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with various levels in an organizationKPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
