We are currently seeking a Senior Associate, Business Analyst to join us in our Montvale office.Information Technology Services (ITS) is the internal IT arm of KPMG. It provides integrated IT services to the firm, but does not provide direct service to clients. It encompasses global, national and practice-based components working together to meet or exceed client, business and regulatory requirements and deliver priority projects to KPMG member firms worldwide. Resources across ITS are combined to seamlessly provide services effectively and efficiently to KPMG’s competitive advantage. We have been selected as number 18 in the "100 Best Places to Work in IT" for 2008 by ComputerWorld magazine.RESPONSIBILITIES:• Understand the business and supporting processes to provide innovative recommendations on process efficiencies and solutions.• Document the business process flows, data flows and requirements, and adherence to the requirements throughout the solution definition • Work with Business Relationship Manager, Business Analyst Manager and other IT professionals to prioritize work to meet milestones and complete deliverables in a timely manner• Work with clients and other IT professionals to identify and specify business requirements and processes• Prepare documentation for scope, business justification and business requirements including use cases and business rules• Create presentations, charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analyzing business problems and defining solutions• Transition captured initiative knowledge to Project Business Analyst for further definition and deployment upon approval to proceed from business• Document and track the status of client inquiries, enhancement requests, and change requests; coordinates the appropriate response and follows up to ensure client satisfaction • Performs other related duties, as assigned or requested• Act as Project Leader and may be involved in providing assistance and training to lower level analystsQUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in MIS, Computer Science, or a related discipline with at six years of diverse work experience in IT, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience • Broad knowledge of the client area functions and applications, and an in-depth knowledge of current technologies• Detail-oriented and thorough• Effective time management skills, excellent technical writing and editing skills, strong oral communication skills• Ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and other team members• Skilled in organizing information based on reviewing meeting notes, specifications, interviewing clients, architects and developers• Ability to adapt and work within the prescribed editorial style and format conventionsKPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
