Senior SQL Developer

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
•Perform database design for decision support systems
•Implement and support requested application database development changes in the Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Server 2003/2008 environments
•Evaluate and recommend data base-related software products within technical architecture framework
•Work with business analysts, other team members and clients to review the business requirements and prepare technical design documents, including the documentation of extended use cases, class diagrams, collaboration diagrams, sequence diagrams and non-functional and functional prototypes, as needed
•Troubleshoot and recommend technical solutions for customer issues related to database configuration and performance
•Act as technical resource for other Information Technology (IT) analysts and business units by resolving complex database systems problems

Qualifications:
•Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university
•Five or more years of SQL database development experience, current experience with SQL 2005/2008, Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) and data warehouse database schema design
•Proficient with T-SQL skills, including stored procedures, functions, views, performance tuning/code debugging and should have worked at least in one production SQL Server Analysis Services(SSAS) project
•Ability to architect, develop and implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) solution for the decision support systems
•Ability to develop and implement Cube solution for the decision support systems
•Proficient in implementing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) solution using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
•Experience with SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Profiler, Access, Excel, Windows, Outlook, Explorer, and scripting
