Services are specialized to help clients mitigate risks across an overall risk spectrum. We are currently seeking a Forensic Technology Director to join us in our New York, NY office. KPMG ForensicSM uses computer forensic and data analysis techniques to help our clients detect fraudulent activity and other forms of misconduct. KPMG LLP operates the Cypress Technology Center, which offers sophisticated technology tools and skilled professionals to help clients reduce litigation costs and risks in the areas of evidence and discovery management and the acquisition, management, and analysis of large data sets.Responsibilities: • Understand needs in electronic and traditional discovery management and help develop project plans that meet those needs• Integrate with partners and directors in the KPMG Forensic practice to deliver coordinated services on investigations• Direct and oversee the planning and implementation of Internet-based discovery management repositories, including the assignment of document access permissions and document review workflows• Direct and oversee discovery management project plans including the recovery, preservation, culling, and processing of electronic and paper documents into discovery management software• Coordinate the full range of traditional and electronic discovery management services provided by the Forensic Technology Services (FTS) practiceQualifications: • Eight years of experience within a public accounting, advisory or law firm• Experience with traditional and electronic discovery management processes • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university• Proficiency with Discovery Management tools and processes, including e-discovery• Knowledge of computer forensic tools, methodologies, or protocols • Knowledge of network security, hardware and software• Knowledge of relational databases• Team player with a positive attitude and good problem solving skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skillsKPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
