Services are specialized to help clients mitigate risks across an overall risk spectrum. We are currently seeking an Advisory Senior Manager/Investment Management in the Performance and Technology Advisory practice to join us in our NYC office focused on the investment management industry.IT Project Advisory services can help organizations identify and mitigate the risk of IT project failure and monitor important project milestones. KPMG’s project management professionals focus on enhancing the processes surrounding project and program management offices and evaluating project deliverables. Services encompass a full range of project governance and advisory services over the full project lifecycle, from business case through to execution and close out.Responsibilities:• Advise clients with revenue enhancements or operational efficiencies/scalability through the design and implementation of customized operating models• Conduct current state assessments, perform industry/competitor research, develop gap assessments and design target state operating models • Lead KPMG teams through daily project execution of activities, deliverables, project plans and client presentations• Lead business development efforts for primary target clients• Support proposal and business development activities by identifying new target clients, building business relationships with key executives and developing/presenting proposals• Serve as a leader in recruiting and retention efforts to grow/develop the practice• Assist with the development of knowledge capital efforts around emerging trendsQualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college/university• Demonstrated track record of leadership, client management, project management and business development• Ten years of experience combining industry and strategy consulting with an emphasis on investment management• Advanced knowledge of asset management, wealth management, hedge funds or private equity funds or fund of funds• Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams• Experience with compliance and risk systems• Able to formulate and express ideas clearly and effectively in verbal and written presentationsKPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
