Services are specialized to help clients mitigate risks across an overall risk spectrum. We are currently seeking an IT Advisory Manager to join us in our New York City office.IT Project Advisory services can help organizations identify and mitigate the risk of IT project failure and monitor important project milestones. KPMG's project management professionals focus on enhancing the processes surrounding project and program management offices and evaluating project deliverables. Services encompass a full range of project governance and advisory services over the full project lifecycle, from business case through to execution and close out.Responsibilities:• Active participation in defining project scope, implementation strategies and timelines, resource dependencies and overall project goals and objectives.• Active participation in the development of business specifications for product and industry topics listed above • Provide framework and details for testing requirements, including test plansQualifications:• Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent business experience• Six years of experience in project management• Experience in Partnership Accounting systems such as HedgeTek, Advent Partner, or InvesTran and experience in Portfolio Accounting systems such as Advent Geneva; experience in Compliance and Risk systems (such as Charles River, Murex, and Risk Metrics) is a plus• Excellent communication and analytical skills• Demonstrated issue resolution skills, strong sense of urgency and ability to be successful even when surrounded by conflict• Knowledge of financial systems and strong data analysis skills• Able to travel required as requiredKPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
