Job Description: KPMG’s Advisory Services Practice is a recognized leader in providing services crucial to the federal government’s continuous and secure operations. Our professionals assist agencies in managing financial, informational, and operational risks, as well as providing performance improvement recommendations to improve agencies’ efficiency. We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Federal Advisory to join us in our Tyson's Corner, VA office.Financial Management professionals help clients align their finance organization with the strategies and needs of their businesses. They help clients improve financial and accounting processes, analysis, operations, controls and performance, budgeting and forecasting, financial closing, financial and management reporting and shared services. Our professionals bring leading practices and recommendations to clients to help streamline and create more efficient financial management processes.Responsibilities:• Serve as the line account lead for NRO/NGA/DIA, responsible for building out and managing all efforts at the agency• Project a professional image of KPMG and deliver high quality services to our clients • Develop a deep understanding of KPMG’s service offerings and help identify potential new opportunities for such service offerings • Assist Partners and Managing Directors in the creation of proposals, business development, and practice administration• Review draft deliverables prepared by engagement teams and present final results to management Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline from an accredited college/university; MBA or a relevant Master’s degree from an accredited college/university preferred• Ten years of combined experience in government or military acquisition and/or financial management, acquisition, IT or other relevant field• Prior experience working with or for NGA; a solid reputation and network within the NGA community• Demonstrated record of success shaping, selling, and delivering professional services; familiarity with the Business Services sections of SMARTS, Taser, eSMARTS, and other relevant NGA contractor vehicles• Active TS/SCI clearance; CI or FS polygraph preferredKPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
